Churchland in 23703 is a different world again, mostly postwar ranches with more room and simpler framing.
In Olde Towne and Cradock the practical work is about making a small original room function rather than expanding it, since the houses sit close together and the footprints are fixed. Original wiring and galvanized supply lines turn up regularly and get replaced during the remodel rather than left behind finished surfaces. Narrow streets in both areas mean daily debris removal and staged deliveries instead of a dumpster sitting out front for three weeks.
